Philip Glass

A survey of Philip Glass’s iconic opera and film music, performed by one of the composer’s greatest interpreters.

Bring a friend, grab a drink, and join some of today’s most interesting performers onstage at Miller Theatre on select evenings.

For more than 40 years, Michael Riesman has been celebrated as one of the great interpreters and performers of Philip Glass’s music, performing his works in concert and on screen. Glass himself has acknowledged Riesman as “a genius.” Joined by Doug Perkins and Lauren Radnofsky of Ensemble Signal, Riesman takes to the Miller stage for a program surveying Glass’s legendary opera and film music, which has enthralled audiences for decades.

All concerts start at 6 p.m. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis, and doors open at 5:30 p.m.
